From 2010-2024, the SmartImaging Lab lead by Dr. Huijun Chen started a series of work on MRI quantification, including MRI sequence design, MRI reconstruction and deep learning image analysis. Students were selected from universities internationally.
SmartImaging Lab fellows worked closely with each other to design and integrate a MR pipeline ready for clinical transition.

The SmartImaging Lab held internships to undergraduate and graduate students to collaborate with our team on medical image research at and beyond Tsinghua. These internships were funded through national foundations in China.

Former Undergraduate Students
The Tsinghua University SmartImaging Lab partnered with academic departments on campus to support 1-2 undergraduate students each year. During their appointments, students both participated in the intellectual life of the lab and also pursued independent research that was relevant to their discipline.
